Let’s talk Amazon finds: it’s like an exciting treasure hunt…most of the time. TBH, it can often feel like an endless abyss that’s damn near impossible to navigate. Many of the items require specific keywords, and half the time, the results we find are, simply put: YAWN. This is especially true for designer lookalikes. That said, if anyone can find them, it’s yours truly. Research has always been my strong suit and passion: leave it to a macroeconomist to crack the code for you.
Designer Lookalikes: Clothing
This is my favorite way to give your other actual designer pieces a major leg up. I’m talking: look like you just walked out of a Gucci ad good. Pair these dresses with your real designer pieces, or swap your real Gucci belt with one of these dupes to save on wear and tear while at the office.
Designer Lookalikes: Shoes
I love my designer sneakers, don’t get me wrong. They offer the highest rate of return given that they’re just more practical than heels. However, wearing your designer sneaks or heels out isn’t fun or cost-effective. Add these dupes to your rotation to preserve your favorite designer ones for more formal events! Let’s get serious: why destroy your real Loubs or Rockstuds at a nightclub? I’ve gone through 3 pairs of these “Rockstud” heels and don’t feel bad about it.
Designer Lookalikes: Accessories
Same concept as above: I use these Amazon bags when I know I’ll be going somewhere that’s either A: going to be messy (beach/hikes) or B: a crazy evening out when I know ruining my designer bag would be imminent. Don’t take just my word for it: I’ve gotten stopped on the street daily and even at dinner by strangers asking me where I got this “Birkin” and/or is it real. It’s some quality shit, yo.
