I’ve had so much fun rocking two of the biggest trends this year, kimonos and a good statement graphic tee. For New York Fashion Week, I rocked them both, sometimes at the same time. One of the things I love most about Fashion Week is the ability to get creative and disrupt modern trends and bring my own style to the street. This outfit, in particular, was one of my absolute favorites of the week. Sporty graphic tees are everywhere these days, from our favorite sporting brands, all the way to the runway. I wanted my sporty side to show, but also blend seamlessly with several of my favorite types of details: lace and killer shoes.
Vintage Inspired Nike T-Shirt Dress
While searching Etsy, I came across the most amazing store, URBNVTG. I was obsessed with all the amazing custom pieces, and this Nike t-shirt dress in particular. I knew I had to incorporate it into my Fashion Week outfits. I have another amazing piece too that’s coming up in a couple weeks! This Nike dress was not only insanely comfortable (think boyfriend pajama tee) but totally eye-catching. I paired it with the kimono for my third day at Fashion Week for the Lulu’s Influencer Party with a few of my fellow blogger babes!
Jaded London Oversized Festival Kimono
This killer kimono was an instant love too. I love to incorporate bright statement pieces from ASOS, as they’re always on trend regardless of what style you’re into. I adore neon anything, and this kimono definitely had to become a part of my wardrobe. From the soft velvet to the long length, it was not only comfortable but beautiful! The movement of the material made it so much fun to get photographed.
Gigi Bootie
One of my favorite pairs of shoes, the Gigi Bootie by Stuart Weitzman, were a repeat wear of the week. They go with everything, from a fancy cocktail dress all the way to this leisurely t-shirt dress look. They’re sadly sold out, but I’ve linked a few here, here, and here that will give you a similar look for you to style into your own wardrobe!
