It’s officially winter here in San Francisco with sub-40 degree weather, and fleeting bouts of rain (meaning snow in Tahoe. Serious FOMO). That also means I can pull some of these new babies out of my closet because it’s finally chilly enough to wear them and actually enjoy them!
I have been a longtime fan of Lululemon’s “Fluff” series, ever since they released the What The Fluff collection a few years back. I was pumped when I saw this pullover come back in new colors, and couldn’t put this color back on the shelf after eyeing it in my local store on Union Street. It pairs with my current navy hued ombré perfectly.
I recently got the chance to sample a pair of Lululemon’s Tight Stuff tights, and I must say they are TIGHT. AF. If you’re looking to get the illusion of the perfect booty or highlight your current assets, these pants are going to be your JAM. They are extremely tight as advertised, which makes endurance running more comfortable given the added compression boost. I can see these in my trail run future in 2016! If you’re cool with the tight pants dance to get these suckers on, you’ll be amazed at how well they function.
My only critique (if it is one) was that the material, while totally functional, wasn’t the usual buttery smooth feel that I love about Lululemon products (I’m a die hard luxtreme addict), just slightly more rigid. However, the function was there, so they got a thumbs up from me! Additionally, the more rigid fabric cut the wind and cold better, so that was an added bonus! They’re now my go-to outdoor tights this season.
I’ve also found myself addicted to these high tops by Puma & Alexander McQueen. Ever since this collaboration was announced, I’ve been obsessed with the thought. I’ve always loved Alexander McQueen’s avant garde and often dark style, so the fact that an athleisure creation was in the works was an absolute dream come true. They are comfortable, wear well, and just downright bad-F-ING-ass.
