If you know anything about me personally, one of the first things you probably know is that I’m a total music junkie, of the rock & roll flavor mostly, to be exact. There’s something so authentic about it, and it inspires the majority of my fashion stylings.
Just like athleisure, it’s totally possible to dress a band tee up and down, and it’s usually the top way I spin my active fashion into streetwear. I’ve also rocked this particular band tee dress to a cocktail party, just last weekend! How so? Read on.
When rocking something as simple as a t-shirt, you have the ability to step up your accessory game: with a statement necklace and strappy heels for a more glam approach, or a statement clutch for a pop of matching color. I dressed this look down for a tech office appropriate look with a pair of my favorite transitional sneakers, my black wool Allbirds, and a long bomber for a more polished approach.
