I know, guys, it’s been a while… I watched a whole new life chapter quickly unfold during Fashion Week, and as a result, my plans and schedule got turned upside down! Navigating a job transition (which included a promotion and relocation) plus NYFW was a lot to take in, but I don’t regret a single moment. Thank you for your patience on this vlog, it was an absolute blast to put together, and I’m glad I took the time to make it perfect: JUST in time for the end of Fashion Week season!
Day One
As soon as I touched down from my redeye flight, it was right to work! I quickly showered at my room at the Ludlow Hotel, and headed out to Rouge Salon for a quick makeup touch up before hitting the shows. My first show was Fashion Hong Kong: SO much fun! As you know, I have a deep love for Asian designers and fashion trends. I was pumped to see so many sneakers on the runway, and lots of sporty vibes amid modern designs.
Day Two
This day was the most hectic. I spent the morning filming a beauty video with Katie Stuart (coming soon!) and some additional content for Lemon and Buzz and then headed out for my second show San Jung Wan. There was SO much sparkle, it was amazing! My favorites included the rhinestone encrusted fishnets and faux fur details.
Day Three
I shot all my NYFW street style looks with Lydia Hudgens, who is a totally RAD human, FYI. If you’re ever in New York, look her up. I spent the rest of the day taking meetings with some brands (new stuff coming guys!!) and interviewing for the position I now hold here in New York at a technology startup! After that, I raced to JFK to take the last evening flight out. Crazy, as I would be headed back three days later permanently. I had no idea at the time!
Don’t worry, I am not forgetting all the outfit details and makeup details, they will be coming later this week as individual posts! For now, sit back and enjoy the shows, and highlights of my trip.
